What's Your Goal?
Goals are used to produce revenue by promoting your organization. It is the starting point for creating artwork.
- Informative – positioning
- Persuasive – call to action
- Reminder – repositioning
Here are some tips for creating a successful commercial wrap:
- Choose fonts for readability
- Most viewing opportunities for potential clients will be from a distance of 20–100 feet. Ideally the main tagline relating to the product or service offered by your your organization should be visible from a distance of 100 feet.
- Keep it streamlined
- It's tempting to list as many of your products and services as can fit on the side of your company van, but force yourself to refrain. Overly crowded text & graphics will meld together and become undecipherable as distance increases. Consider using 3 or 4 bullet points of your top products and services.
- Company logo size
- Scale your company logo with a large descriptive tagline that encapsulates what your organization does.
- What you do, where you do it, and how you can connect
- Your product or service, location, and contact information are three essential ingredients required to advertise your business successfully with vehicle graphics or wraps. This includes your phone number, website address, physical address (if applicable), and a company email address, e.g., info@mycompany.com.
- Using full-color wraps
- Because clear and concise messages are critical for the success of your vehicle wrap, the role of background graphics is to grab attention. When your vehicle has a killer wrap, it WILL get noticed! And so will your business!
- Selecting a company to wrap your vehicle
- Good company reviews are important, as well as location of the installation, the quality of vinyl, and the experience of the installers. Inspect their installations for alignment, fit around doors, bubbles, and the overall look.
